challenges in managing areas of their lives they feel uncomfortable. Clients and I work with
depression, alcohol use, drug use, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Creating a counseling
experience that allows clients to feel safe and inspired is the environment I seek to foster. My
multicultural approach has allowed me to engage various groups of people based on sex, age,

My professional training consist of learning skills in EMDR, CPT, and CBT over the past 10
years. I’m married with six children. I love sports, fishing, and cooking. My personal philosophy
in life is “Small Steps Make Big Strides”. I would consider it a privilege to walk with you to a
better life experience.

Dr. Letichia Gallishaw, DCC ED.S MBA

My name is Dr. Letichia Gallishaw. I am currently the Director of Social Services with Jamison Consultants.  I am a native of Lane, SC.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Limestone College in Business Administration, MBA from Webster University, and Doctorate of Christian Counseling from the School of the Great Commission.   For 15 years I have worked in the school system both public and private from Guidance Assistance, Business Education Teacher, and Director of Education. I have always had the love to help others from youth to elderly reach their full potential by providing the necessities that will benefit the “whole” person.  I have adopted the motto, to be outstanding, get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Terrell Gunter, LMSW

No matter if this is your first time in therapy or if you’ve seen one or more counselors in the past,
finding someone you can trust can be a challenging process. I offer a strengths-based and
client-centered approach when working with individuals and families by encouraging them to
share their goals for treatment. I also encourage regular feedback from clients to help them
continue to make progress.
I have knowledge and training in how to manage several challenges (i.e. family/relationship
problems, sexual abuse, PTSD, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression) using different
treatment modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy. I would love to meet you and see if I’m a good match for you to help meet
your goals.

While practicing medicine in Beaufort he has served in several capacities. It was so effective until it was translated into Spanish and into an adult form for further distribution. He has also served on the SC Childhood Obesity Taskforce. He has also set up several pediatric health programs including an asthma prevention program (Project Breath Easy) and a pediatric home visitation program (Parents As Teachers). These programs have been so effective until his practice offers these services to other participating medical practices free of charge through a federal grant he manages.

Currently his practice is a state leader in the delivery of telemedicine. It will be the first in the country to offer telemedicine services directly to a Head Start program through a partnership with Beaufort Japer EOC and 4OLA Health Solutions. 4OLA Health Solutions is a technology company founded by Dr. Simmons to improve health care using technology.
