Jamison Consultants, a South Carolina licensed provider for Medicaid-covered Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBHS) therapy, has opened a new facility in Bluffton, South Carolina. The center offers Medicaid-funded behavioral health services for children, adolescents and families, and is an important new option for local Medicaid patients to receive mental health and substance abuse services.
The new Jamison Consultants Behavioral Health Center, which opened on April 7th, is located at 167 Bluffton Road in Bluffton. At 2,400 square feet, the spacious center includes areas for playroom therapy and group therapy sessions as well as private areas for individual therapy and case management. The new facility is a second location for Jamison Consultants Behavioral Health Center, which first opened its Holly Hill, South Carolina center in 2010. Since its launch, Jamison Consultants Behavioral Health Center has helped more than 100 individuals through its rehabilitative behavioral health services and programs.

Jamison Consultants Behavioral Health Center in Bluffton offers an experienced clinical staff with years of expertise in mental health/substance abuse counseling, and provides a full range of rehabilitative behavioral health services for children, adolescents and families. Specific services offered include individual psychotherapy, family counseling, group therapy, children’s therapy, couples counseling, day treatment and behavior modification. The Center specializes in a number of issues affecting families today, including ADHD, oppositional defiance disorder (ODD), bipolar disorder, depression, eating disorders and grief/loss, as well as help with self-esteem issues and stress management. Children and adolescents with a diagnosable mental health condition who have problems functioning successfully in school or at home and have Medicaid insurance may be eligible for these services.
The new Bluffton Jamison Consultants Behavioral Health Center also offers Drug and Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling for Medicaid patients, and is an important new option to help individuals suffering from addiction to alcohol and other substances to manage their addictions.. The Center’s substance abuse counseling program includes drug and alcohol assessments, follow-up assessments and group alcohol and drug substance abuse counseling, and is particularly valuable for individuals who have failed routine drug tests from their employer and are seeking an effective program to help overcome their addictions – and keep their jobs.
“By offering drug and alcohol abuse counseling to Medicaid patients we are able to help many people referred to us keep their jobs, which is so important in today’s economy,” notes Jamison. “Through EAP referrals, our center offers those individuals who have failed drug tests the substance abuse rehabilitative services they need in order to remain drug-free, providing the critical support, counseling and therapy they need to effectively manage their substance abuse issues and remain in their jobs.”
Jamison Consultants Behavioral Health Center’s new Bluffton office is open from Monday – Friday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Saturday 9am-2pm and Sunday by appointment. In addition to serving the needs of Medicaid patients, Jamison Consultants Behavioral Health Center also accepts many other forms of insurance. Jamison Consultants also offers Medicaid Transport, offering Medicaid patients transportation to and from medical appointments and visits to the Center.
